What is the FLOW Device? Flow is a small internet-connected device that integrates with your coffee machine. The three-part hardware and software kit taps into any traditional volumetric machine’s flow sensors, measuring the speed and volume of every shot pulled.

FLOW FAQ’S

Can you integrate it into my espresso machine? If you are using a traditional volumetric machine, the answer is almost certainly yes. Flow has been integrated into many different manufacturers’ machines and to date, they have not found one that we could not integrate with.

What does the onboarding process look like? Once the unit is installed, we can connect you with support who will take you through the online training program. The data that Flow provides is clear and very easy to understand.

Will the system require ongoing servicing? No, Flow can be remotely updated, and there is no need for physical servicing.

Can I have the system without the gauges? Yes, the dashboard and the gauges run independently of each other. The Flow team believes there is incredible value in having both, though they can run independently. 

Why is the recipe important? The main pillars of the recipe being dry dose, yield and time will determine the flavor in the cup. Your roaster will have put a lot of time into creating the perfect balance of these 3 pillars. At the retail level, it is imperative that the recipe parameters are being met in order to deliver your clients a high-quality flavor experience.

What is the ongoing cost? Monitoring of the system starts at $55 per month per site. This gives you access to the dashboard and all the custom reports.
